Dusty's thoughts of the day...Nov 28th

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a great holiday yesterday with good food and great times with friends and family! I am little late posting today, it has been a little busy, but here I am.

My thoughts today were on time and how quickly it seems to go by. Of course, we know that time moves at the same pace every day, seconds, minutes, and hours, but it feels like it goes so quickly. I can't believe that Halloween and Thanksgiving are over and Christmas will be here before we know it.

I have really made it a goal to make the most of every minute of every day. That is a tall order of course, especially when you work 40 hours a week, but I really do try. My hope is to make an impact on the lives of those around me and myself. I got to spend some time with some wonderful folks today and talk history for about 2 hours and based on the smiles and laughter, I think I succeeded in brightening their day.

But there are times I wish we had more hours in the day or if time just moved a little slower. I really relish the time I spend doing the things I love, but it makes time seem to go so fast. Today is a great example of how I am just now sitting down to write this and I am wondering where the day went. It was productive and fun, but I don't want it to end so quickly.

Well, any who, I am going to going to grab some grub and work on some articles that I need to get turned in and then I will do some painting to relax before bed. I hope you all had a great Black Friday and found some good deals if you went out. Love you all and take some time to really enjoy your weekend. Every minute.
